Dawsongroup plc, one of the UK’s top asset rental and leasing organisations, has announced Robert Taylor as the new head and Commercial Director of its expanding Asset Finance subsidiary, LHE Finance. LHE Finance has grown to become one of the transport industry’s* leading specialist asset rental operations.
Taylor will spearhead LHE Finance’s next growth phase from 23rd February 2015, leaving his role as Director of Corporate Asset Finance at Lombard, the asset finance arm of RBS. He was previously Head of Corporate Asset Finance, London, for Bank of Scotland.
Commenting on his appointment, Taylor said: “Dawsongroup is committed to this exciting and evolving area of the group’s operations, and LHE Finance’s advisory approach is exactly how I like my teams to work with their customers. In his 30 year careerwith all the major UK banks in the City and West End, Robert has been a specialist in the growth and development of asset finance divisions for approaching 20 years.
He is a Fellow of The Leasing Foundation, The Royal Society of Arts and is a fully Chartered Banker.
Robert sits on the Commercial Board of the National Autistic Society, is a Corporate Ambassador for Research Autism and a Trustee of ‘Arts for All’, a Shoreditch-based charity. He is a cycling and fitness fanatic, with one Iron Man challenge already completed and another firmly in his sights for 2016.
