Dawsonrentals|truck and trailer ltd is part of Dawsongroup plc, a national provider of commercial rental solutions. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Business Development Manager based in Glasgow.

Working in conjunction with the General Manager you will be adept at identifying and closing opportunities for both long and short term rental of the truck and trailer fleet throughout Scotland and the North of England.

As a motivated self-starter, you will play a leading role in setting, agreeing and delivering area sales objectives, through target customer acquisition, individual negotiations, lead conversions and ongoing review of the area sales performance.

Reporting to the General Manager and National Head of Sales you will give regular feedback and market intelligence on customer, competitor and industry activity, offering ideas for further promoting our business interests in your area and beyond.

A background within the transport industry and commercial vehicle sales or rental would be advantageous but not essential. Candidates must however have a full UK current driving licence.
